Elsie von Husdon is the cutest little 7 month old Irish terrier mix puppy.  Mixed with what, you ask?  We think she may be part Airedale, one of the smartest breeds around.  And intelligent she is.  Her foster humans actually report that she fully communicates her needs and wants to them. A soft bark at the door in the morning to go out, an intent look at you and her dish when she feels it is dinner time. When those eyes look into yours, you know she is eager to communicate with you and you will probably start answering her. Elsie would win the trophy in a Miss Personality contest. She is both adorable and loving - plus she sports a beautifully-colored fur coat.  Elsie, however, has a neurological weakness in her back legs that causes her to lose her balance sometimes. She is fully capable of running and jumping, and in fact that’s what she does with her foster siblings.  We are happy to report noticeable improvement since she came to us a month ago. She has learned to climb stairs and even jump up on the couch.  Her hips are good, it was as if she never had an opportunity to run and play and get stronger! She loves the daughter in the family, she also loves her canine siblings, one tiny and one huge, Elsie would be good with any dog.
